Scanning Photos

How do I send you my photos for scanning?

  1. Contact us for our address details.

  2. Box your photos securely for Postage.

  3. Send via Australia Post or your preferred courier.

When my photos are scanned, how do I get my photos back?

We will let you know when we are posting your photos back to you via Australia Post.

Or if you are in the area, we will make an appointment with you to pick up your photos.

Do you charge to remove my photos from my sleeve album?

Removing photos from albums is time consuming. We do charge per photo to remove them from the album.

How long does it take for you to scan my photos?

Depending on what you require scanning, it can take between 2-4 weeks.

Can I send you a mix of photos, negatives and photo albums?

Yes you can.

I live on the Northern Rivers NSW, do I have to post my photos to you?

No. You can give us a call and we'll organise a pick up and drop off at sites in Murwillumbah, Kingscliff or Tweed.

Cataloguing Photos

I want to send you photos from my digital devices for a Photo Index Book. Do you catalogue my digital photos?

No. You know your photos best. Please create folders and name your digital photos accordingly before you upload them to us. Please see How do I sort my photos under the Scanning Services menu for more information about sorting your photos for the Photo Index Book.

Do I have to categorise and label every single photo?

No. We batch categorise your photos. For example: If you went on a holiday to New Zealand. You can batch categorise all your photos from that trip. If you want more information with your photos, please contact us and we can discuss with you what we can do for you.

Does your cataloguing service cost extra?

Basic batch cataloguing is automatically included with scanning. Most cataloguing will be applied to the digital scan file name, however, if more information is required, this will be applied to the info section found in the digital file properties.

Can you send me the label template so that I can sort my photos?

Yes here it is.

What is included in basic batch cataloging?

Our basic cataloguing includes batches of 20 or more photos on average. If you require cataloguing on singular photographs or less than an average of 20 photos in a batch, please contact us.

Do you have any tips on how to sort my photos before I send them to you for scanning?

How do I send my digital photos to you?

When you have ordered your Photo Index Book, we will provide you with a link where you can upload your photos.

What is the size of a Photo Index Book?

Photo Index Book comes in 2 sizes:


Regular: 210 x 210 mm


Large: 310 x 310 mm

How many pages can I have in my Photo Index Book?

You can have between 14 - 450 pages

How many photos can I have on each page?

You have a choice of 4, 9, 16, or 25 on each page.

Does the Photo Index Book come with a usb of all my photos?

Yes, the Photo Index Book comes with a photo stick with matching catalogue of your digital photos.

How many photos can I have in my Photo Index Book?

That depends on the format of your book. If you choose a format where you have 25 photos per page, then you can have up to 11,250 photos in your book.

How long does it take to make my Photo Index Book?

Your Photo Index Book will be processed and printed within 3-4 weeks. We'll notify you when it's on its way to you.

If I have my photos scanned with you, do I have to get a Photo Index Book?

Scanning Services and Photo Index Books are two different services that compliment each other. You can use these services separately or in combination.

Do you catalogue my digital photos for the Photo Index Book?

We catalogue your photos only when we are scanning your photos.
